Bryan Gustafson

Mr. Bryan Gustafson serves as Principal of New Hope High School and brings more than 20 years of experience in public education to the role. Throughout his career, he has served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and administrator, building a strong foundation in instructional leadership and student success.

Before joining New Hope High School, Mr. Gustafson spent more than two decades at Madison County High School, where he served in a variety of leadership roles, including Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. His experience has centered on fostering positive school culture, supporting teacher growth, and creating opportunities for all students to succeed.

Mr. Gustafson earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University.

As principal, Mr. Gustafson is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and high-performing learning environment where students are challenged academically, encouraged to grow as leaders, and prepared for success beyond graduation. He believes strong relationships, high expectations, and a collaborative school community are the foundation of student achievement.
